Gazprom produces 418 bcm of gas in 2015, may produce more in 2016
MOSCOW, Feb 1 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom produced 418 billion cubic meters of gas in 2015, a record low on the back of unfavorable weather conditions and low consumption, and plans to increase its output a bit in 2016, Vsevolod Cherepanov, a member of Gazprom’s management board, said at a conference on Monday.
“We produced 418.5 billion cubic meters of gas in 2015. We plan to increase it a bit in 2016 compared with 2015,” he said.
Gazprom also plans to increase production of gas condensate by 25% in years to come, Cherepanov said.
